                Grant Anderson - Owner/Guide


Grant has been guiding in Alaska since 2001 and has been an Alaskan resident for 15 years. Grants guiding experience ranges from a full day hike-in or fly-in fishing trips to 7-10 day fly fishing float trips/bear viewing on many remote rivers on the Kenai Peninsula and in the Katmai N.P. and the Bristol Bay region. After starting his own guide service in 2004, "Alaska Fly Fishing Tours", Sport Fishing Guide Service, Grant proudly opened "The Fly Box" Tackle Shop in Anchor Point, Alaska, in the summer of 2009, specializing in "Locally Hand Tied Flies" and "Walk-In Guiding" on the Anchor River.  



                

                    Bruce Susinger - Head Guide

Bruce is a World Class Fly Fisherman and Master Guide. Known all over the world for his great professional skills as a fly fisherman and mastering the art of fly tying, with some of the best fly patterns the North Pacific and Alaska has ever seen. Bruce has over 30 years of fly fishing experience on the Anchor River in lower Kenai Peninsula and throughout Alaska.
If hunting is your passion, Bruce can also guide you with his experience and wealth of knowledge of hunting in Alaska or in the lower 48 states.

Joe Kent - Guide
 

Joe is a long time resident of Alaska, who joined our Professional Guide Team in 2014. Joe has over 30 years of experience fishing the Anchor River and around Alaska. You will appreciate Joe’s calm approach to guiding and fishing, as he patiently takes his time showing clients the fishing techniques and demonstrating proper river etiquette. Along with his guide duties, Joe works at "The Fly Box Tackle Shop" tying flies, providing customer service and  knowledgeable river information and regulations.
Joe is known for being a great chef, a lumberjack and the Fire Chief.
