Still great weather in the lower peninsula giving us great river conditions for tomorrow.  The tides will be better on the weekend and should push in some fish.

Mon. May 23rd - 6am
Anchor River -
What a great day for fishing! Water is clear and slowly dropping, few folks on the river this morning and we caught some Steelhead and a King.  Only a few Kings saw caught, but with the small high tides it can only improve.  Enjoy it while it lasts and don't forget we can fish on Wednesdays this year.

Sun. May 22nd - 6am

Great river conditions today with water clearing and very little cloudy.  Water is still a little high, but not bad.  Many Kings caught today and seem to be big fish this year

Rain Rain Go Away! Little rain this morning has turned the water color dirty, hopefully this rain will soak in the ground, God knows we need it.

Water is still dropping, but very slow, it is clearing up a little, but still a little cloudy.  Plan on using some bright colors with your fly patterns and spinner selection.

Tues. May 17th - 6am
Anchor River -
Starting to see it drop a littlebut at a very slow rate.  Kings have been sighted in lower river moving in on the high tides.  Best time to fish salmon is 2 hrs before to 2 hrs after the high tide, when the largest amount of fish push in on the tide.

There were a few Kings surfacing down in the lower river, which is a good sign.  Water is still in poor condition. Many good reports for King fishing out on the ocean.

Sat. May 14th - 8am
Anchor River -
Not much change in the river conditions, we will have to wait and see how it shapes up.  Water is high and dirty. Off to a good start with the run, many Kings have gone past the weir.
Kasilof River -
The water is still low with good river bank access for Steelhead and Dolly's.  Upper river will hold some nice size Steelhead, look for shallow runs with some structure. Few King reports on the lower river bank area.
