2024 Fishing Report





Thurs. Oct.31st - 9am  Happy Halloween !
Anchor River - Last day of the season, river closes tomorrow.  The good Lord has blessed us with another spectacular Steelhead season.  The river stayed open and not too much slush, made for an end to a great season. WE ARE ALL ALASKA BLESSED !

Weds. Oct. 30th - 9am
Anchor River - Steelhead fishing continues to be good and the river had no slush in it, but a little snow on the banks.

Tues. Oct. 29th - 9am
Anchor River - Heavy snow last night, 6 inches or so. The river looks great, with no slush. Steelhead fishing has been great !!!

Mon. Oct. 28th - 9am
Anchor River - Snow turned into rain all day. Temps. are not bad.  River is clear of slush this morning, with some ice along the banks.  Steelhead fishing was great today, with many Dolly's and a bonus Moose on the trail, hiking in.

Sun. Oct. 27th - 9am
Anchor River - Little ice along the banks in places, water is at a good level.  Steelhead fishing has been great !!

Sat. Oct. 26th - 9am
Anchor River - River conditions are great.  The water is at a great level and it has cleared up.  Good Steelhead fishing continues.

Fri. Oct. 25th - 9am
Anchor River - There are some big fish in the river this year !  Little snow still on the ground, but the river looks great !

Thurs. Oct. 24th - 9am
Anchor River - River is in good condition, Steelhead fishing is still good.  It snowed today and was a little windy.

Weds. Oct. 23rd - 9am
Anchor River - River has dropped to a nice level, ok for crossing.  Steelhead fishing was a little slow, water was just a little off color.

Tues. Oct. 22nd - 9am
Anchor River - Rain last night has brought the river up a little and will slowly drop over the next couple days. It's still in good shape for fishing.

Mon. Oct. 21st - 9am
Anchor River - Much warmer morning with no slush in the river.  Still a little ice on the banks and Steelhead have been very active.

Sun. Oct. 20th - 9am
Anchor River - Slushy conditions with more ice on the banks, a little warmer this morning, but eyes still freezing up.  Plenty of Steelhead in the river.

Sat. Oct. 19th - 9am
Anchor River - Starting to see lots of slush in the river and ice on the banks .  Good Steelhead fishing continues.

Fri. Oct. 18th - 9am
Anchor River - Cold morning and eyes on the rods freezing up. Lots of active Dolly's and seeing some big hog Steelhead this year!

Thurs. Oct. 17th - 8am
Anchor River - Incredible day on the river, with many Dolly's and one Steelhead.  Nothing until later in the day, morning was too cold. 
Deep Creek - Great reports from guys up on Deep Creek, up river was good, water is excellent !

Weds. Oct. 16th - 9am
Anchor River - River is looking good for a great day of fishing.  Steelhead fishing has been good and very active Dolly's.

Tues. Oct. 15th - 9am
Anchor River - Was upper river today, above the 2 mile bridge, North Fork.  Caught a few rainbows and the river was in great shape !

Mon. Oct. 14th - 8am
Anchor River - The has been a significant drop in the river and it has cleared up.  We should see better conditions continue in the next few days.

Sun. Oct. 13th - 8am
Anchor River - Water is dropping and was very high.
Kenai River - Great Rainbow Trout fishing today with a 28" and a 24" fish !  Weather sucked but we had blue skies later in the day !

Sat. Oct. 12th - 8am
Anchor River - Water has spiked up and is blown out !!
Kenai River - Rain and wind didn't stop us from the upper Kenai today.  We saw great action a with some nice size fish, poor weather.

Fri. Oct. 11th - 8am
Anchor River - River Conditions remain good and the Steelhead fishing is doing well right now.  Dolly's are very active and all colored up in their fall spawning colors.

Thurs. Oct. 10th - 8am
Anchor River - Great Day of Steelhead fishing today, 3 for 4 and many Dolly;s.  River is in great shape.

Weds. Oct. 9th - 8am
Anchor River - What a great day on the river !  Several Steelhead and Dolly's.  The river is in great shape.

Tues. Oct. 8th - 8am
Anchor River - Good Steelhead fishing continues and the river is in perfect shape !

Mon. Oct. 7th - 8am
Anchor River - Great River Conditions, temperatures were just a little cold this morning, and nothing but Dolly's.  I think they have moved up.

Sun. Oct. 6th - 8am
Anchor River - Water is just a little high, but is clear enough for fishing.  Tough day, only Dolly's.

Sat. Oct. 5th - 8am
Anchor River - Water level has spiked up last night and is high today.  It is off color, so use bright colors if out there.
Deep Creek - Water isn't as high as the Anchor, but is off color and a little high to cross.

Fri. Oct. 4th - 8am
Anchor River - Been great Steelhead fishing and some big hogs this year ! 
Deep Creek - Good fishing reports and the river is in good shape.

Thurs. Oct. 3rd - 8am
Anchor River - Beautiful day on the river, again !  Water is perfect, many Dolly's today and 3 Steels.

Weds. Oct. 2nd - 8am
Anchor River - Was able to get a couple Steelhead today, River Conditions are great !

Anchor River - Beautiful day ! and the river is in great shape !  Good Steelhead fishing continues

Mon. Sept. 30th - 8am
Anchor River - River is still in good condition and the fishing has continued to be good.  Little hit or miss today.

Sun. Sept. 29th - 8am
Anchor River - There are some nice size fish in the river, we have caught some monsters this year.

Sat. Sept. 28th - 8am
Anchor River - Good reports from the guys today and many nice fish and many Dolly's.

Fri. Sept. 27th - 8am
Anchor River - Looks good and not too high, its a little off color.  Steelhead fishing has continued to improve.  Lots of Dolly's,
Deep Creek - Good reports, and river conditions are favorable.

Thurs. Sept. 26th - 8am
Anchor River - Little high and just off color.  Little slower today with only Dolly's today.
Deep Creek - Steelhead fishing has been good and up river seems to be best.

Weds. Sept. 25th - 8am
Anchor River - After the rain yesterday and last night, the river looks good.  I would suspect we see it come up and turn dirty later today.

Tues. Sept. 24th - 8am
Anchor River - Good river conditions, the rain didn't do much to the river, just came up a little but still clear.  Good Steelhead fishing, two today.

Mon. Sept. 23rd - 8am
Anchor River - Starting to see the fishing match to numbers in the river.  Steelhead are moving up,but best has still been lower river.

Sun. Sept. 22nd - 8am
Anchor River -  Good Steelhead fishing this morning, with many active fish and great river conditions.
Deep Creek - Good river conditions and only a few reports and people are starting to catch more Steelhead.

Sat. Sept. 21st - 8am
Anchor River -  Cool morning, frost on the deck. River is looking great and water is clear and low.  Nothing today with JP, but a few Dolly's.
Deep Creek - Good reports today from a guy who was fishing by the parking lot.  Water looks great.

Fri. Sept. 20th - 8am
Anchor River - River is dropping nicely and is clearing up.  One nice 31.5 today in lower river.
Deep Creek - River is looking better and is fishing good.

Thurs. Sept. 19th - 8am
Anchor River - Water is just a touch high, but was able to make normal crossings and is clearing up.  Was able to land two.
Deep Creek - No reports, the water is dropping and looking good.

Weds. Sept. 18th - 8am
Anchor River - Poor Fishing today due to bad river conditions.  The morning started out good then the water came up and got dirty as we were fishing. Hopefully better tomorrow.
Kenai River - Good reports from the upper river and refuge.  Beads have changed a little. 

Tues. Sept. 17th - 8am
Anchor River - Water conditions were good, but no fish to report. 
Kenai River - Good Rainbow fishing in the upper river.

Mon. Sept. 16th - 8am
Anchor River - Conditions were not too bad, and tough fishing today.
Deep Creek - No reports.

Sun. Sept. 15th - 8am
Anchor River - High water and dirty has made fishing poor.
Deep Creek - No reports from Deep Ck.  Haven't been there.

Sat. Sept. 14th - 8am
Anchor River - Better water today and only one Steelhead and no Dolly's.
Kenai River - Great Rainbow fishing, many Dolly's too ! Water conditions are perfect !!

Fri. Sept. 13th - 8am
Anchor River - It has started to come down and is clearing up.  It is still dirty and high, but may be better by this evening and tomorrow.
Deep Creek - The water is looking better but still high and off color.

Thurs. Sept. 12th - 8am
Anchor River - Heavy rain last night, bad weather and rain today has brought up the river and is blown out !  Hope by Sat. it looks better.
Kenai River - The upper river continues to be great Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden fishing ! 
Deep Creek - The water has come up and early reports said it was tough today and then the river came up and was unsafe to cross.
Ninilchik River - The rain has brought up the river and is off color, like Deep Creek.

Weds. Sept. 11th - 8am
Anchor River - Great Steelhead fishing today and a spawned out Silver, no new reports of fresh Silvers, we may see some on the next series of High tides, as well as a new push of Steelhead.  Dolly fishing continues to be good !
Deep Creek - Good river conditions and a few good reports of Steelhead fishing.

Tues. Sept. 10th - 8am
Anchor River - Great river conditions, with the water lower and clear.  Still good Steelhead fishing, one 27 in. today ! 
Deep Creek - Good river conditions and good reports of Steelhead fishing, haven't heard any reports of Silvers and haven't fished it for a while.
Kenai River - Great bead fishing for Rainbows and Dolly's. If you can weed through the Tomatoes ! 

Mon. Sept. 9th - 8am
Anchor River - Picked 's.up a nice Steelhead in lower river, Dudes, and a few Dolly's.
Kenai River - There is good Rainbow fishing using Beads or flesh flies.  No reports of Silvers.

Sun. Sept. 8th - 8am
Anchor River - River is coming down and looks good. Still good Steelhead fishing.
Deep Creek - The water looks better and we still are catching Steelhead, beads best in the high off color water.

Sat. Sept. 7th - 8am
Anchor River - The river went up yesterday and started to drop last night, but is still very high and dirty.  Making it tough for good fishing.
Deep Creek - Little better river conditions than the anchor, but off color and no new reports of Steelhead.
Kenai River - Rainbow and Dolly Varden fishing continues to be good and the river is in perfect condition!

Fri. Sept. 6th - 8am
Anchor River - Water is slowly coming down and is still high and dirty with about a foot visibility.
Deep Creek - We have been getting some Steelhead when water conditions were better, after the water clears it should be good.
Kenai River - Bead Bite continues to be good and we are still catching them on dry flies.

Thurs. Sept. 5th - 8am
Anchor River - Water is coming up after the rain and is very dirty, we did get one Steelhead on a bead, nothing on flies today.
Deep Creek - Water still a little high and the color is poor, with about a foot visibility.

Weds. Sept. 4th - 8am
Anchor River - High water and poor visibility, not a good fishing day.
Deep Creek - Water looks dirty and has come up a little.
Ninilchik River - Water looks dirty and has come up a little.

Tues. Sept. 3rd - 6am
Anchor River - Water is very high today and is still off color.
Kenai River - Great Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden fishing.  The beads were working great and the flesh.

Mon. Sept. 2nd - 6am
Anchor River - Water is still high and cloudy, with tough conditions for crossing, we still got one Silver and a Dolly.
Kenai River - Still good river conditions, with the water nice and low and getting clear.

Sun. Sept. 1st - 6am
Anchor River - Rain making things not look too good and no fishing today.
Kenai River_ Upper Kenai was on fire today and we caught some nice Bows and Dolly's.

Sat. Aug. 31st - 6am
Anchor River - Still some Silvers in there, and good Dolly fishing up river.  Still looking for Steelhead up river, we are seeing Steelhead in the lower river.
Kenai River - Epic Day of Rainbow Trout fishing !  River Conditions were perfect, cloudy just a little rain, and many big Dolly's and Bows!

Fri. Aug. 30th - 6am
Anchor River - Water Conditions are good, with the water dropping just a little.  Great Dolly fishing, still looking for Steelhead up river.
Kenai River - The bead bite is on, the Refuge is fishing awesome!

Thurs. Aug. 29th - 6am
Anchor River - Jeff went down and was back in 45 minutes with a nice Silver !  There is still good Silver fishing, maybe its our great flies!
Kenai River - The upper Kenai is running a little low, which made great Rainbow and dolly fishing. Today was one of the best days I've ever had on the Kenai !!

Weds. Aug. 28th - 6am
Anchor River - We are still catching silvers, my guide Jeff went down and was back in an hour or so with a nice Silver.  Great dolly fishing !!
Kenai River - Water conditions are great right now.  Water is  low and clear !  Many Rainbows today !!!

Tues. Aug. 27th - 6am
Anchor River - Still looking for Steelhead and only a few reports any being caught. 
Kenai River - Bead bite just starting and should get better tis week!  Water looks great !!

Mon. Aug. 26th - 6am
Anchor River - Water is up just a little and a little off color, but we are still catching Silvers and Dolly's.
Kenai River - Upper river has been fishing well, sockeye seem to started to drop eggs and the bead bite is doing well.

Sun. Aug. 25th - 6am
Anchor River - High and dirty water this morning.  Silvers are still coming in the river and we got one, even with the dirty water.
Deep Creek - After the rain it is also has come up and is off color.

Sat. Aug. 24th - 6am
Anchor River - Good river conditions, Silvers are still active.  No Bait starts today and it is single hook, artificial lure only starts today.
Deep Creek - Same restrictions on Deep and Ninilchik and all fresh eaters of the Kenai Peninsula.

Fri. Aug. 23rd - 6am
Anchor River - Silvers were around, but with tight lips today, no bites, but saw lots of fish. Great Dolly fishing up river.
Deep Creek - Good Silver action today.  Few Dolly's up river, no Steelhead yet.

Thurs. Aug. 22nd - 6am
Anchor River - Good Silver action this morning, early !  Lots of Dolly's and good conditions.
Deep Creek - No Steelhead reports.  Silvers are coming in and good reports fishing the high tides.

Weds. Aug. 21st - 6am
Anchor River - Fishing the high tides early in the morning seems to best.  Good tides right now.
Deep Creek - Fishing is getting better and the tides are high, so look for good fishing 2 hours before to 2 hours after high tides for best chance.

Tues. Aug. 20th - 6am
Anchor River -Silver action turned into Steelhead action today, catching my first Steelhead of the year.  A Good sign!
Deep Creek - Silver fishing is starting to get better , look for fish on the high tides.

Mon. Aug. 19th - 6am
Anchor River - Water conditions are great and we are getting silvers on the high tides. 
Kenai River - Few Silvers in the lower river. 

Sun. Aug. 18th - 6am
Anchor River - Dolly Varden are through out the river and there are Silvers in the river.
Deep Creek - Good reports of Silvers Fishing in the early am tides.

Sat. Aug. 17th - 6am
Anchor River - Water looks great and we are catching Silvers.  Bright Flashy flys seem best, lately.
Deep Creek - Good Silver Fishing on the high tides.

Fri. Aug. 16th - 6am
Anchor River - Water looks great !  Dolly's are very active and we are getting silvers !
Kenai River - Middle river is starting to see some Silvers, but not in big numbers.

Thurs. Aug. 15th - 6am
Anchor River - Fun Dolly action today and clients were very happy.
Kenai River - Upper River is getting better for Rainbows, Salmon seem to h ave dropped eggs, bead bite is on !

Weds. Aug. 14th - 6am
Anchor River - Little tougher fishing today, but a good learning experience for the clients, Dolly's only. 
Kenai River - Water came down just a little and we are still seeing Sockeye, but not many Silvers.

Tues. Aug. 13th - 8am
Anchor River - There was good Dolly fishing today and no Silvers.  I believe the Silvers came in during the high water and bolted up river
Kenai River - 6 Sockeye today in the lower River.

Mon. Aug. 12th - 6am
Anchor River - Water is at a nice level and clear.  Few Dolly's and no Silvers today.
Kenai River - Few Silver in the lower Kenai River, haven't seen a huge push of silvers yet.

Sun. Aug. 11th - 6am
Anchor River - Silvers are in the river, still hit or miss and not very big high tides, so not too many fish pushing in.
Kenai River - 6 Sockeye today in the Soldotna area and a few Pinks in the river.

Sat. Aug. 10th - 6am
Anchor River - Water has dropped and looks good, just a little off color.  We still caught some Dolly's.
Kenai River - There are still some fresh Sockeye coming in, we got 5 today.

Fri. Aug. 9th - 6am
Anchor River - Little better river conditions today, but only a foot visibility and still dirty.
Kenai River - The Sockeye are still coming in and we are seeing Pinks and a few Silvers as well.

Thurs. Aug. 8th - 6am
Anchor River - River is very high and dirty, slow Silver action, but we got a few Dolly's.
Kenai River - Little better sockeye numbers today and maybe they will raise up, caught Pinks as well.

Weds. Aug. 7th - 6am
Anchor River - Rain, Rain, Rain... water is high and dirty, slow fishing.
Kenai River - Sockeye numbers have dropped, but we still get some Sockeye, although there are some Pinks mixed in there.

Tues. Aug. 6th - 6am
Anchor River - Rained hard last night, you have until about noon before the dirty water flush hits lower river.  Dolly's have moved up river and we are seeing Silvers on the tide.
Kenai River - Sockeye numbers have fallen but we still got our 6 fish fairly quick. Silvers have been caught in lower river.

Mon. Aug. 5th - 6am
Anchor River - Still good Sockeye fishing in the Soldotna area.
Kenai River - Hearing reports of Silvers being caught in the lower Kenai River, Sockeye are still coming in.

Sun. Aug. 4th - 6am
Anchor River - Big group today, we did we,  one huge Dolly, a Silver and many Dolly's today.
Kenai River - Numbers of Sockeye have dropped off a little, but still plenty of fish to go fill your cooler.

Sat. Aug. 3rd - 6am
Anchor River - Dolly's were very active today !  many on smolt streamers and egg patterns. 
Kenai River - No Silvers yet, but we are still getting Sockeye and in good numbers !

Fri. Aug. 2nd - 6am
Anchor River - Good Dolly fishing this morning, slowing down by noon.  River water is low and getting lower.
Kenai River - Good Sockeye fishing remains in the Soldotna Area, didn't see many fresh Sockeye up at the Russian River Ferry yesterday.

Thurs. Aug. 1st - 6am
Anchor River - We are still looking for a sign of Silvers in the river.  Only one report a someone losing one and we did turn one this morning, but no big push yet.
Kenai River - Upper Kenai is still doing well on dry flies and flesh, not mush on the bead bite yet.

Weds. July 31st - 6am
Anchor River - Great Dolly fishing remains in the lower river.
Kenai River - Sockeye numbers have dropped a little but we still see many fish caught in the lower Soldotna area.

Tues. July 30th - 6am
Anchor River - The water is getting very low and may be slowing up the Silvers from coming in. just my guess...
Kenai River - There is still good Sockeye fishing in the lower Kenai River, water level is maintaining at a nice lever. May even have dropped a little.

Mon. July 29th - 6am
Anchor River - For a lot of fun, the Dolly's are in and easy to catch !
Kenai River - Still good Sockeye fishing, go get your coolers filled up !

Sun. July 28th - 6am
Anchor River - Another great day of Dolly fishing for some good fishermen !  Catching over 30+ each.
Kenai River - Sockeye fishing has been great this year and I bet we see good fishing into the middle of Aug.

Sat. July 27th - 6am
Anchor River - Still looking for Silvers to show up and still no sign of Pinks.
Kenai River - Another huge push of fish today !  Had the two Hotties Kara and Lauren, who got their limits and showed everybody up !  Right in the Mouth !!   The Ripper and Snaggers scared up a bunch of fish, snagging many in the belly, fins, side...ect... 2-3 out of 10 in the mouth.  My girls 12 out of 12 in the mouth !!  Technique and rigging...! 

Fri. July 26th - 6am
Anchor River - What a fun day on the river catching tons of dolly's !  Very happy clients and we took a couple of pan fryers for their dinner !
Kenai River - Huge numbers of Sockeye today as we got our limits in record time again today !!  Dad got his limit of 6 in an hour !  Limit is 6 and everybody's is getting their fish and out of there quick!

Thurs. July 25th - 6am
Anchor River - Had beginners today and they did well catching Dolly's, got low holed by some unconcerned spinner fisherman, casting in our hole over our lines, BS !  We packed up and left, they must have really wanted that hole to do that to us !! A H's ! No deals in the shop for them !!
Kenai River - Great Sockeye fishing today and we are still getting our limits and good time.

Weds. July 24th - 6am
Anchor River - Lots of Dolly's in the river and still no sigh of Silvers of Pink Salmon.
Upper Kenai River - Good Dolly and Rainbow fishing today, lots of fun on Dry flies today !!

Tues. July 23rd - 6am
Anchor River - Lit up the Dolly's today !  Many Dolly's 18 to 20 inches and saw a poacher taking many too many Dolly's today, Proxy... BS !  I saw a couple taking 4, then we saw them up river fishing for more and one on the bank.  A H's !  They knew that I knew too !!
Kenai River - Go Fill your Coolers!  Sockeye are In and Its time to harvest !!!

Sun. July 21st - 6am
Anchor River - Good Dolly fishing today and so,me very large size Dolly's!
Kenai River - River is full of fish, follow the big numbers of Sockeye up river, the middle river is stuffed with Sockeye.

Sat. July 20th - 6am
Anchor River - Water is low and getting lower.  The Silvers will ait until we get some water int there, I bet.
Kenai River - Big difference today with it taking a little linger to get our limits, but still extremely great fishing !!!

Fri. July 19th - 6am
Anchor River - Good Dolly action and the river is still low.  No sign of Silvers or Pinks yet.
Kenai River - Another great day of Sockeye fishing !  Limits in an hour or so !

Thurs. July 18th - 6am
Anchor River - Water is still very low and we need some rain I have to say.  Lots of Dolly action!
Kenai River - The Sockeye are in and we are getting our limits very fast !  Haven't seen any big numbers of sockeye upper Kenai River.

Weds. July 17th - 6am
Anchor River - The Dolly's are in and we  are having very good days for dolly's, Plenty of red Kings in there, leave them alone !!
Kenai River - Great day of fishing today !  The Sockeye were in great numbers today and we got our limits fast today !

Tues. July 16th - 6am
Anchor River - Many dolly's today as we see the good size fish so far this year.
Kenai River - Good numbers of Sockeye today and seemed to improve as the day went on.

Mon. July 15th - 6am
Anchor River - Good Dolly Fishing today with nice size Dolly's coming in.  The rain brought up the river a little. Good and clear.
Kenai River - Sockeye fishing has slowed a little but we sill see the numbers come up any day.
Kasilof River -Still good Sockeye fishing, remember the limit is 6 per person.

Sun. July 14th - 6am
Anchor River - Rain has put a little color in the river, but not to bad. Still good Dolly fishing.
Kenai River - The numbers dropped a little but we are still getting fish.
Kasilof River -Sockeye fishing remains good.

Sat. July 13th - 6am
Anchor River - Starting to see more Dolly's ion the river.  Rain has brought up the river and its dirty.
Kenai River - Great numbers of Sockeye and the limit is 6 per person.

Fri. July 12th - 6am
Anchor River - Rain put a little color in the river, but should be good  for most of the day.
Kenai River - Sockeye fishing was great today, 5 or 6 fish for beginners !

Thurs. July 11th - 6am
Anchor River - Waiting for more Dolly's in the river,and still looking for Pink Salmon to show up.
Kenai River - Sockeye fishing has been great for this time of year !
Russian River - Great Rainbow trout fishing on the upper today.  dolly's and Bows were active on Nymphs and drys.

Weds. July 10th - 6am
Anchor River - Lots of Kings still in the river, they are closed for fishing, please don't target the Kings!
Kenai River - Been doing well on sockeye already this year. Numbers are good for this time of year.

Tues. July 9th - 6am
Anchor River - Low water remains and we need some rain. 
Kenai River - The upper river has been great dry fly fishing and nymphs. 
Kasilof River -Sockeye fishing has improved.

Mon. July 8th - 6am
Anchor River - We need some water in the river, it is getting seriously low.
Kenai River - We are picking up sockeye and good numbers for this time of year.

Sun. July 7th - 6am
Anchor River - Still looking for the Dolly's to show in good numbers.  We are seeing them behind the spawning Kings.
Kasilof River -Sockeye fishing has been good and we are still seeing hatchery Kings being caught.

Sat. July 6th - 6am
Anchor River - River is low and getting lower, we need some water in the river.
Kasilof River -Fun sockeye fishing today, big group got a limit of fish, rare day !

Anchor River - Low water and the dolly fishing was slow.
Kasilof River -Still picking up some Hatchery Kings

Thurs. July 4th - 6am
Anchor River - Happy Independence Day !  Low water and waiting for the Dolly's to show.

Weds. July 3rd - 6am
Anchor River - Low water, we need water and not many Dolly's in the river yet.
Kenai River - Sockeye fishing was good today, we landed 4 of 8 fish today.

Tues. July 2nd - 6am
Anchor River - We need water in the river as it looks low.
Kasilof River -Good Sockeye fishing and Kings are being caught, only keep a Hatchery King, Wild Kings must be released.

Mon. July 1st - 6am
Anchor River - Opens today for all species other that King Salmon. King Salmon are closed and do not target them!
Kasilof River -Good King Salmon fishing today, we got a few early in the morning about 5am.

Sun. June 30th - 6am
Anchor River - Low water and we need rain.
Kasilof River - There is still good Sockeye fishing and good fishing for King Salmon.

Sat. June 29th - 6am
Anchor River - At this point the river is getting dangerously low !!  Please God, do your watering at night !!
Kenai River -  Starting to see Sockeye numbers increase.
Russian River - Good Rainbow Trout fishing, and sockeye numbers are getting better !

Fri. June28th - 6am
Anchor River - It is getting very low and we will need some rain to bring it up. 
Kasilof River - Good King Salmon fishing continues and you still can keep 2 hatchery Kings.

Thurs. June 27th - 6am
Anchor River - The river is so low I hope the King Salmon can get past the weir, becoming an obstruction in the river. 
Kasilof River -Sockeye Fishing is picking up and they raised the limit to 6 fish per day starting yesterday.

Weds. June 26th - 6am
Anchor River - It looks like the river needs some water, it is very low.
Kasilof River -You can still catch and keep 2 hatchery King Salmon, and fishing has been improving.

Tues. June 25th - 6am
Anchor River - Still waiting for the river to open and hope the Kings are moving up past the weir with this low water.
Kasilof River -Sockeye fishing has been improving, fishing the tide has been the best time.
Kenai River - We are still seeing some Sockeye numbers improve, not seeing huge numbers a the Russian River.

Mon. June 24th - 6am
Anchor River - The river continues to drop and is getting low.
Kasilof River -King fishing has been good and we are seeing Sockeye numbers improving.
Kenai River - Sockeye fishing is still a little slow, but we are still seeing fish.

Sun. June 23rd - 6am
Anchor River -  We could use some water in the river or it will get very low.
Kasilof River -Still good King fishing and we are still catching Sockeye.
Kenai River - Not a great day for sockeye fishing, but we are seeing low numbers.

Sat. June 22nd - 6am
Anchor River - Still closed and we wait for July 16th for it to open.
Kasilof River -Good reports on the Kasilof today, there was a good number of Sockeye that were caught in he early morning.
Kenai River - It was a little slow sockeye fishing today and we are fishing in the Soldotna area.

Fri. June 21st = 6am
Anchor River - Water is so low, I hate to say it, but we need rain for the sake of the river.
Kasilof River - You can still catch and keep 2 hatchery Kings and the limit is 3 Sockeye per day.

Thurs. June 20 - 6am
Ninilchik River - We had a great day today King fishing, hooks 4 and landed 2, both Wild and were released, but a fun time.
Kasilof River - Still catching Kings and Sockeye fishing seems to be increasing slowly.
Kenai River - Russian River Reds are still coming in as the first run has been slow.

Weds. June 19th - 6am
Anchor River - We need rain to help the rive out as it slowly drops.
Kasilof River -Good Sockeye fishing today as we hit the tide right on.  many fish caught then it dropped off.

Tues. June 18th - 6am
Anchor River - Waiting for the river to open July 16th and hope we get some water in the river.
Kasilof River - Not any luck with Kings today and slow Sockeye fishing.

Mon. June 17th - 6am
Anchor River - There are some Kings hanging under the bridge and still many below the weir, it is becoming an obstruction with the low water.
Kasilof River -Limit 2 hatchery Kings and 3 Sockeye, fishing continues to improve.

Sun. June 16th - 6am
Anchor River - Would like to see some rain the river is getting very low.
Kasilof River - We are seeing some nice size Kings and a few Sockeye caught today.

Sat. June 15th - 6am
Anchor River - Opens today for catch and release only fishing for king Salmon.  The lower river is open, no bait !  Single Hook artificial lure only.
Kasilof River - Water continues to rise slowly.  The King Salmon fishing has been good and the Sockeye fishing has been improving!
Kenai River - Good Sockeye fishing today !

Fri. June 14th - 6am
Anchor River - The river opens at midnight tonight for King Salmon fishing, catch and release only!  Please read the emergency order !
Kasilof River - Good King fishing today and one Sockeye.
Kenai River - The Sockeye are moving in and heading up to the Russian River.  Good numbers and fish are up at the Russian River.

Thurs. June 13th - 6am
Anchor River - Still closed, but opens this weekend for 4 days.  Check the Emergency order for information.
Kasilof River - The King Salmon fishing has been improving and the water continues to rise slowly.

Weds. June 12th - 6am
Anchor River - Looks great for this time of year. Closed!
Kasilof River -Good action today, with some Sockeye in the river and the was some good King fishing this morning.   Several hook ups from the boats and from shore.

Tues, June 11th - 6am
Anchor River - Looks great for this time of year. Closed!
Kasilof River - Water is coming up very slowly and we are seeing some Sockeye on the high tides.  Kings seem to be improving !

Kasilof River -Water looks great and the fishing is improving every day.  Still early and few Sockeye are in, but high tides seem to be best.

Kasilof River -There were a few Kings caught this morning, but did not see too many Sockeye caught.

Kasilof River -Starting to see the Sockeye in better numbers, and  King fishing is improving.  Seeing more Wild Kings than Hatchery.

Fri. June 7th - 6am
Anchor River - The river is closed until July 15th, for all species.  Our King count is looking good!
Kasilof River -Was a special day for my client and I, we had a good try for Kings today and missed one fish.  No Sockeye, but we were King fishing.  The boys did well just before we got there.  My client was blind.  We will be trying it again soon !!

Thurs. June 6th - 6am
Anchor River - The river is closed until July 15th, for all species. 
Kasilof River -The Sockeye were running early today!  We managed to get one, and no Kings today.  Although King fishing was good today for the guys that were in the boats.

Kasilof River -The river conditions are great, with the low water and not much rain.  Kings were good early and Sockeye are a little slow yet.
